PRO Clone rules furnished by ODKRA (Oklahoma Dirt Kart Racing Association)
GENERAL RULES
1. Kart must be in good working order.
2. Must have hydraulic brakes no front brakes accepted.
3. Must have an easy to grab spark plug wire (with a large zip-tie pointed up).
4. No battle bars will be accepted and bars must be covered.
5. Go Kart and the driver must weigh a minimum of 350 lbs.
6. Junior Clone Drivers (Ages 10 – 16 years old) Go Kart and the driver must weigh a minimum of 275 lbs.
7. Must be pull cord started, and ran on pump gasoline (no racing gasoline).
MOTOR RULES
8. Motor must be a clone of a Honda GX200 series such as Chicago Machine, Gray Hound, Lifan, Zin Dang) Clone Motors (That can be bought at Harbor Freight or Online.)
9. Motor must be stock with no after market or Honda parts as this is a clone class.
10. Pre or Post lawsuit motors are acceptable.
11. No machining grinding or welding of any kind will be tolerated.
12. All governor parts can be removed except for the gear on the crankshaft.
13. Headers can be used, Manufactured or hand made.
14. Stock air box must be used, but air filter element may be changed.
15. No bored out carburetor, or stacked gaskets inside carburetor.
16. Stock Ignition and stock timing, no offset keyway).
17. The Spark Plug may be changed.
18. No E Tube changing (Jet changing acceptable).
TIRES
19. Must be slicks, no cutting of siping.
MOTOR CLAIM
20. Only the top three finishing order motors can be claimed.
21. Last in the finishing order has the first option to claim any or all the top three finishing motors at $200 per motor.
TECH
22. Top three finishing positions go directly to the tech area after the feature.
23. If you refuse tech you forfeit the points and the trophy.
RACERS
24. Racer must wear driver suit or an exception of denim pants and a heavy jacket.
25. Neck brace, helmet and gloves are required.
